Dr Praveen Jadhav
A rheumatologist and cardiologist, Dr Praveen Jadhav is trained at Harvard and Monash (Melbourne) Universities. His commitment to his country drew him back to India. His love towards details, philanthropy and passion is evident in his work. He is a strong advocate of organic farming.
Dr Vasant S Sahastrabuddhe
An old school medical practitioner in Nashik, Dr Sahastrabuddhe is now above 80 and a war veteran. He served in the medical corps of the Indian Army in the 1971 Bangladesh War and had the privilege of accompanying the then Indian Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi on her visit to the war front. Dr Sahastrabuddhe checks patients regularly, and attends the monthly checkup at Matoshree Vruddhashram an old Age Home at samangaon near Nashik. He dedicates the Samangaon visits to the memory of his wife, Dr Mrs Shyamala Sahasrabuddhe, who was also a founder member of Ashwaas.
Dr Renukadas Deshpande
One of the gems of Ashwaas is Dr. Renukadas Deshpande. Once you start listening to him, you feel that he should not stop. His oratory, command over language and knowledge about the Bhagwadgeeta, is awe inspiring. He travels all the way from Parbhani to participate in the Ashwaas activities. His contribution to the camps and old age home activities is immense. He is one of the guiding force of Ashwaas. Whether it be in decision making, compiling texts, preparing speeches, or running the show, his help cannot be missed.
Dr Vijay Surana
Ashwaas is fortunate to have Dr. Vijay Surana, an eminent chest physician in Nashik Road, as one of its pioneers. His expertise and acumen have played a crucial role in the success of the organization.
Dr Nitin Surana
Dr Nitin Surana, a prominent paediatrician of Nashik road, and the cheerful in charge of paediatric OPD at the MMC at Bhandardara is a boon for Ashwaas. His leadership qualities are our asset.
Dr Anil Kanade
The indefatigable backbone of Ashwaas, Dr Anil Kanade is a popular general practitioner of Bhagur. He is a cyclist with many accolades to his credit, and also a pet lover. He was instrumental in binding people of all hues in the fabric of Ashwaas. A workaholic, it is hard to find anyone more dedicated to the cause of Ashwaas than Dr.Anil Kanade.
Dr Mayur Sarode
Dr Mayur Sarode, a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon from Nashik, religiously attends every Mega Medical Camps at tribal areas of Bhandardara. His presence is reassuring to the mountain people, always moving in the shadow of accidents and injury. His alloted room in the camps has perhaps the largest follow up rate, and he also diligently treats every case to the point of cure.
Dr Anup Kumat
Dr Anup Kumat-Gentle, soft spoken and pious, Dr Anup Kumat is a gynaecologist. Screening patients for uterine cancer and other maladies, he is an arch fundraiser for Ashwaas too.
Ms Sonal Ganore
Sonal is an entrepreneur and also a genius photographer Ms Sonal looks after both the finances and the ‘image’ of Ashwaas. She makes Ashwaas events memorable with her wonderful clicks. Inheriting generosity from her parents, Sonal is the boast of Ashwaas.
Mr Jagan Thube
Jagan is the Public Relations Officer of Ashwaas, and looks after its documentation and legal affairs.
Mr Kiran Marathe
Mr.Kiran Marathe, also known as Marathe Kaka is the think tank of Ashwaas. His has had a pivotal role in the inception of Ashwaas and contributed immensely in drafting constitution of Ashwaas.
Mr Dadasaheb Landge
Mr.Dadasaheb Landge, a medical representative represents commitment at the Mega Medical Camp. His heart for a social cause makes Ashwaas stronger.
Mr Ratan Ankolekar
Ratan is a fitness wonder, who scales the mighty Kalsubai every Sunday for a brunch there. His reach in every home in nearby villages that facilitate the work of Ashwaas.
Dr Sunil Shejwal
He is one of the most active members of the bi-annual camp. He and his team work throughout the day to identify the patients with cataracts and eye problems. He operates them in his nursing home without any financial renumerations.
Mr Shirish Waghmare
Is a silent worker doing all the sundry work at Samangaon monthly visits and the biannual camps.
Mr Vithoba Sonje
He is the man Friday of Ashwaas. His main job is printing the stationery of Ashwaas. But he contributes with just about any work in all the Ashwaas activities.
Mr Deepak Khaire
His expertise is in pharmacy. He is responsible for procuring medicines, distributing them and making the inmates feel secure.
Mr Shubham Kotkar
He never misses any of the monthly or bi annual visits. His prompt help to the inmates is hugely appreciated.
